Small-sized Class
The classes have a number of students (maximum twelve) is order that each
studentcan be taken care of according to his/her proficiency and surely improve
Japanese skills. This small-sized class system has contributed to the fast
learning of our students, which has been highly evaluated by those who
work with them.
Various Extercurricular Activities
Needless to mention, to learn culture, customs, and history of the country
is an important part of studying a foreign langauge. Our Japanese program
includes such various extracurricular activitiesas visits to cultural/historical
sites, and exchange with local residents.
This school year, the students visited a neighboring elementary school
to give children an introductory lecture on their home countries, participated
in an international tourism conference on Okinawa and a Japanese speech
contest.
These activities have deeply inspired the students and helped them to learn
practical Japanese.
Educational Surroundings
Ginowan city consists ofcalm districts and is home to the University of
the Ryukyus, Okinawa International University, and the Okinawa Christian
College. Most of the universities make their libraries and other facilities
open to the public. Ginowan city by far, the most student-oriented area
in Okinawa.
Access to Japanese Universities
Our school received much information about graduate and under graduate
courses of universities all over Japan. Many Japanese Universities are
willing to accept more foreign students and offers various financial support
to them.
We provide students with detailed guidance both before and after being
accepted by a university.
Internship Program
Our school has internship program in which students experience voluntary
work in a Japanese company in Okinawa. This is not only a practical training
of Japanese language but also a precious opportunity for students to observe
a true Japanese business setting.
Okinawa, Key to the Twenty First Century
Attracting about four millions tourists every year, Okinawa is one of the most favored resorts in Japan. Beautiful sceneries, abundant coral reefs and exotic plant life are some of the main attractions of the Island. The historic G-8 Summit meeting in July 2000, allowed Okinawan to have global exposure and to claim an important position as a new gateway to Asia. See Okinawa, a unique historic and cultural asset.
